What was the highlight of Panglao Palms Apartelle

Calm place

Calm place - it was the end of our stay and usually in other places of Philipines there are noisy cocks everywhere. Here, any noise, really calm. Manager was very helpful - with motorbike and our departure.

Some staff were not that agreeable and welcoming as in the rest of the Philippines. Might be just different mood in very turisty part of Philippines. ;) Poor wifi in our room.

Lovely off-centre stay in garden compound with clean pool.

Quiet off-centre location, good beaches, Bohol bee farm and eateries are a short scooter ride away. Nice clean pool and spacious rooms.

No cleaning and towel change during stay, little variation in breakfast.

The staff was friendly and the location was good and more relaxing than staying close to Alona beach. Nice pool too.

A spatious room.

A spatious room. They forgot to clean our room after the 2nd day, but Liza, the host, was very friendly, apologized and gave us a discount for the room. She also helped us rent a motorbike, so we did not have to go and search for one ourselves. Good internet Good AC

Pool only open until to 6pm - would be good if the host would mention this in the house description on booking.com. Our bathroom was very small compared to the room and everytime we showered, the floor would get wet and there was no way to dry it up (ventilation is rather non-existing), so we had to deal with a “mini-pool” inside our bathroom. The light in the bathroom is also very poor and tap water pressure low (even when it rained). The beach close-by is not well maintained and not actually a beach - the “closest” and more okish one is Alona, ~8km away from the guesthouse (so plan to rent a motorbike). The guesthouse has no restaurant and there isn’t any decent one in the area (walking-distance), so again a motorbike/tricycle is needed (we took the bike to the Bohol Bee Farm and the food there was amazing). All in all, it was a good and quiet stay but we did not think it was value for money, but a rather expensive choice; after a bit of searching we found a better and cheaper option (a resort) closer to Alona, away from the hustle of the touristic area.

What was the highlight of Panglao Palms Apartelle

All in all, we really enjoyed the place. It was inexpensive and really cozy. Thumbs up!

Room was huge and clean; bed comfortable and ample; cable TV provided with lots of channels; WiFi was fast. Not bad at all. Location was just right for us; we didn't want a crowded place but peace and quiet. Plus, the pool was just right for a quick swim or a relaxing dip. There was a beach nearby with crystal clear waters and white sand, and reaaally off the grid, so you'll be able to swim to your heart's content. If you have a car, you could get to any place easily and quickly. Around 10 mins from Alona Beach and all its restos and bars, and just around 5 minutes from Bohol Bee Farm. The place was just around 30 minutes from Tagbilaran.

Breakfast serving was slightly small. Would have been perfect if there were two longganisas. ;) It would also be great if there was a water dispenser outside, so we don't have to keep bothering the staff for hot or cold water. We also weren't sure if our compli water and toiletries should have been replenished since we booked for two(2) nights.

You get definitiv more for your money!

Nice accomodation with wonderful rooms, staff is always friendly, quiet location, i would book it again!

The location is a bit outside but reachable with tricycles, staff is friendly but only the owner can speak english well, waterpressure in shower is too low.

Rest and relax at good value

This was the second time we stay at this place. They have added a pool and a lot more rooms. The owner is still as lovely as ever. She helped us out with yips and rented us a motor bike at an ok rate. Very chilled and relaxing. Bike was useful to get around as place is a bit of a ways from Anda beach or restaurants.

The apartment is in a quiet area and the staff were able to rent us a motorbike at a reasonable price. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing and the room was spacious with a good minibar

Lovely staff and very welcoming! Such a pleasant stay

Me and my boyfriend have been to many places abroad/in the world and this has really blown us away!! Staff was so nice and friendly!! Totally did not expect it for such low rate but it was an amazing experience making the first days in Philippines very welcoming and warm Small family owned apartments which are so kind and lovely. Arranged pick up from the airport and helped us hire a bike- within 45misn of the request the bike was already ready for us. Location is a bit out of town but that’s exactly what we wanted and riding a bike was lots of fun! PS. They make great breakfast, basic but really made with love - sunny side up wins! Breakfast starts at 7am, however one morning we had a trip starting 6am and we’ve informed the staff the night before and they made us ‘breakfast on the go’ making us feel so cared for and well looked after. Rooms are spacious, and have a nice spot to chill on the tarrace or by the pool. We have barely stayed indoors so we didn’t need much! Our arrival and whole stay was very smooth and helped us relax a lot. Would highly recommend as you can get a feel of the real Philippino hospitality! Smiley and positive people everywhere you go!! In addition, throughout our stay we saw only 6 guests (in 3 days) and everyone was out and about. It was quiet and very private. We spoke to some of them and all were very happy with the hotel, some of them stay seasonally- living there :) it just shows how genuine the people are!
